British Airways will offer complimentary quick in-flight connectivity by way of satellite deal
Travelers aboard British Airways will soon access quick wifi onboard free of charge due to a major partnership with the billionaire's space firm.
Free plus Quick Internet for All
British Airways stated that this complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” internet offering from the satellite provider is set to be available to passengers flying economy, business, and first class as of next month.
Widespread Rollout Over Multiple Carriers
The parent organization of BA, the airline group, announced it had reached an agreement with Starlink to offer internet access across over 500 jets within the group's airlines, such as the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, plus the low-cost airline.
Smooth Wifi from Gate through Arrival
The airline explained that the implementation for the system formed part of a £7bn “transformation” initiative and will deliver lag-free internet access to flyers from boarding to arrival, including when traveling over seas or far-off locations.
Passengers may connect multiple electronics and they will not require a unique password.

Present Internet Services
Restricted wifi service remains offered for British Airways flyers on nearly all of its planes using their .air system.
Members of BA’s reward scheme can dispatch communications and text-only correspondence in the air without paying, whereas passengers who want to stream audio, films, or films throughout their flight who are not flying in premium cabins can expect to pay from four pounds ninety-nine to £21.99 for one connectivity bundle.

Ongoing Improvements at the Airline
The airline's leadership have been striving to turn British Airways back after years of budget reductions, IT problems, strikes, plus staff cuts.
British Airways explained that use with smart technology has assisted them to achieve its timeliness to record highs from 2012.
Financial Outlook
Recently, BA disclosed a rise in operating profits for the first six months of the year, helping to push IAG’s profit higher.
The group is due to report their financial performance for the quarter from July to September soon.
Other SpaceX Agreements
The airline's update arrives shortly following wireless carrier Virgin Media O2 said it was partnering alongside Starlink to enhance cellular service in the countryside in Britain, letting consumers to easily hook up mobile devices using orbiting devices when no traditional cellular service is available.
